HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Wednesday officials unveiled a new $3.5 million, 22,000-square-foot facility at Davidson Technologies in Cummings Research Park.
Davidson Technologies, which broke ground on the building last October, intends to use the structure to house up to 100 employees. Built by Turner Construction, the facility is attached to an existing 27,000-square-foot facility by the atrium.
Davidson Technologies was founded by Dr. Julian Davidson in 1996 to provide aerospace and missile defense technology to government and industry customers. Dorothy Davidson took over the company and became chair of the board in February after the death of her husband.
The woman-owned small business, which provides technical services to the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA and other prime contractors, has additional offices in Colorado, Alaska and Washington, D.C.
