UPDATE: All Tickets Gone for Sarah Palin’s Address to New Hope High School Graduates

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Sarah Palin, arguably one of the most well-known women in the Republican Party in the last several years, is scheduled to visit to Madison County next week.

Dr. David Copeland, Madison County Superintendent, confirms to WHNT News 19 Palin will speak at New Hope High School’s graduation ceremony.

The event is next Wednesday, May 21 at 8 p.m. at the Von Braun Center.  It is an event that requires tickets, Dr. Copeland said.

“What an honor for the students of New Hope High to hear such a prominent speaker as Mrs. Palin,” Dr. Copeland said.  The students got the news at school on Tuesday morning.

Palin is a former vice presidential candidate, the first Republican woman to get the party’s nomination.  She ran on the Republican ticket with Sen. John McCain in 2008.  She also served as governor of Alaska from 2006-2009.  She currently works as a political commentator and endorses various Republican candidates for state and federal office.

To maintain the integrity of New Hope’s graduation ceremony, attendance will be limited to the schools, businesses, and communities of New Hope and Owens Cross Roads that support the vision of the school and the accomplishments of the students and educators in the Madison County School District.

UPDATE:  There were a limited number of tickets made available to the general public.  They have been distributed — no more are left.  All tickets were free.

New Hope High School Principal Lavell Everett will provide adequate tickets for the graduates and their family and friends, as well as the New Hope High community, according to Geraldine Tibbs, spokesperson for Madison County Schools.

Principal Everett said he is proud of the way Palin’s visit came together.

“It’s the relationship with the people over the years, dealing with the kids and grandkids, spending time talking, and going to them with needs,” said Everett.

Everett has been part of the New Hope community for 11 years.

“Someone is familiar with Mrs. Palin.  That’s how the relationship started.  I requested her.  I wrote the letter to see if she would and she did.”

WHNT News 19 asked who is paying for Palin’s visit.  The school system said the cost is being covered by an anonymous donor from the New Hope area.  The school and school system will not pay for any of the costs.

Wow where to begin here. I don’t think it is because Sarah Palin is Republican that people feel like this is a slap in the face but for the fact that she is one of the most nonintellectual Republicans there are, or perhaps ever was. I mean, just look at some of these quotes, or Palinisms:

“[Paul Revere] did warn the British. And in a shout-out, gotcha-type of question that was asked of me, I answered candidly. And I know my American history.” –Sarah Palin, defending her botched Paul Revere history lesson by taking issue with the reporter, who simply asked her “What have you seen so far today, and what are you going to take away from your visit?” (Fox News Sunday interview, June 5, 2011)

“‘Refudiate,’ ‘misunderestimate,’ ‘wee-wee’d up.’ English is a living language. Shakespeare liked to coin new words too. Got to celebrate it!’” –a follow-up Tweet by Sarah Palin, proudly mistaking her illiteracy for literary genius, July 18, 2010)

“[Barack and Michelle Obama] have power in their words. They could refudiate what it is that this group is saying.” –Sarah Palin, on the NAACP charge of racism in the Tea Party movement, The Sean Hannity Show, Fox News, July 14, 2010

“We realize that more and more Americans are starting to see the light there and understand the contrast. And we talk a lot about, OK, we’re confident that we’re going to win on Tuesday, so from there, the first 100 days, how are we going to kick in the plan that will get this economy back on the right track and really shore up the strategies that we need over in Iraq and Iran to win these wars?” –Sarah Palin, suggesting we are at war with Iran, FOX News interview, Nov. 1, 2008)

Face it Republicans (which I am a former Republican) you can do a lot better than Palin. Bush Jr. and Bush Sr. would actually be four out of five stars a head of Palin. They are at least decent role models for the kids. Palin is not. She is hypocritical, cynical and not very bright. Even the person who created her thinks she is cracked in the skull.

I don’t know. Palin speaking a a gathering of kids sounds like the pretext for a hex. And I would just love to see these kids lives after they have been touched (cursed) by Sarah Palin.

      • If by elitist you mean intelligent COUNT ME IN!

Speaking in tongues is not moral. Supporting a religious fanatic who kills women in his village claiming they are witches is not moral. Not living up to your obligations (quite job in record time anyone?), is neither moral nor ethical. Lying to oust your predecessor and steal his job, for which you are not even qualified, is not moral. Advocating for the succession of Alaska from the US is not moral. Lying about death panels is not moral. Lying about any bill you are too ignorant and lazy to read is not moral. Overpopulating the world is not moral. Abuse of power is not moral. Pork barrel politics is not moral. Being a bigot and making racial slurs about one who is classier and more intelligent than you is not moral (particularly when 99.9999999999%+ of the population falls into this category).

For Beo: if you are going to criticize Palin for her “prose”, you also would have to eliminate many black Dem politicians as well as many white ones from the gene pool as being in the elite of the intellectual ‘creme de la creme’ as well. You’ll have to count out Hillary when ever she goes south of the mason dixon when she starts to imitate a black drawlish dialect when pandering for votes and money. A hex on you…as a matter of fact….and may you “boil boil toil” and bubble in the trouble of your own hateful souless bile!

As for a response to “elitist’: What is YOUR philosophical moral foundation by which you judge Palin to be immoral? Who are you? A superior being yourself? A devotee to flying spaghetti monsters? As for the moralitiy of speaking in tongues, it is a Gift of the Spirit, well founded and written about in the Bible; beware you speak ill of such a gift lest you blaspheme the Holy Ghost. To call such a gift evil when the source is from God himself can leave a human being in a very precarious situation. It is better to keep silence about something you are very ignorant about; some might think you wise if you do so!

      • Skillpot

What an honor to be bestowed upon Alabama, Madison County, Huntsville, and especially NEW HOPE HIGH SCHOOL, to have Sarah visit! Dang, and I did not get my much wanted ticket! Is there anyone that has a ticket willing to let me have it?

      • TruthLivesHere

Well LAC… What they should have done is gotten Nancy Pelosi, she could speak on the benefits of a 30-hour work week and writing poetry. OR Lois Lerner talking about how pleading the fifth will benefit you in every aspect of life. LAST, BUT NOT LEAST… Hillary Clinton could discuss the finer points of screaming “What difference does it make???” when faced with adversity.

No other person in politics, man or woman, has had as much hate, vitriol and lies told about them as Sarah Palin but she has not faltered or retreated and in fact has become stronger

Soon after Palin entered the national political scene as. John McCain’s running mate, she was attacked as a diva, a clothes hog, an irresponsible mother, etc. The media dismissed what she achieved as mayor of her hometown, commissioner of the state’s oil and pipeline board and governor of America’s largest state.

The media decided that nothing was too personal to attack-including her marriage, her children, her faith, and her wardrobe. The media distorted Palin’s positions and beliefs beyond recognition. And almost every word out of her mouth was spun as a “flub”.

The media hounded her, and her family, on a daily basis, flat out making crap up (like that she, personally, shot wolves from the air). They claimed her baby was not her own; used despicable language to attack her and her family; sent numerous reporters to Wasilla to dig up dirt on her ; AP reporters “factchecked” her book; accused her of being an accomplice to murder; accused her of being book burner; her email hacked by the son of a Democrat congressman; a so-called reporter rented a house next door in order to spy on her family; political operatives filing endless bogus ethic charges designed to bankrupt a working family with a special need toddler and much more ,all in an effort to discredit her.

The media even went through pages and pages of Palin Emails (24,000+ pages of emails from Palin’s term as governor), looking for damning information that could wipe Sarah Palin from America’s political scene.

What they found was the inner workings of an efficient, informed and very involved governor that mounted an unprecedented 80 plus approval rating while in office…..not exactly what the death squads of WaPo, the NYT, and other mainstream outlets had in mind.

The Palin Emails (24,000+ pages of emails) show that Sarah Palin conducted the business of her state in a transparent, bi-partisan, and responsible manner. She worked long, hard hours and treated everyone with respect. There were no sex scandals, no lewd twitter photos, no misuse of taxpayer dollars, and no malicious behavior, whatsoever. Just a governor doing her job.

By the way, this scenario is in sharp contrast to the manner in which the media handled Barack Obama, whom it woefully failed to properly investigate in 2007-08.

The media were wrong about Revere; distinguished historical scholars have come out endorsing Palin’s statement regarding Paul Revere.

Experts back Sarah Palin’s historical account

“Sarah Palin yesterday insisted her claim at the Old North Church last week that Paul Revere “warned the British” during his famed 1775 ride — remarks that Democrats and the media roundly ridiculed — is actually historically accurate. And local historians are backing her up”

Even NPR confirms that Gov.Palin was right about Revere (interview of professor Robert Allison Chairman of history dept Suffolk university Boston)

Prof. ALLISON: Well, yeah, she did.”

I live in New Hope Alabama. I can think of a few speakers that graduated from New Hope High School. Rudy Ford signed to play football for Auburn, Howard Cross played for the New York Giants for years and has championship rings, Cliff Mann a circuit court judge, Mark Craig elected as licence director I am sure there are more, Any of these people would be more qualified to speak than Sarah Palin. What has she accomplished besides quitting as Gov. of Alaska and trying to bring down a good President?
      .

    • Del Wells

I know of 2 places that Mrs Palin spoke that she rec’d $35,000. and paid for her own Security, Plane Tickets, Hotels, Meals for her & her group, etc.
So, where do we look up this $100,000. that she supposedly charges? Please answer so we all can look it up.

      • Del Wells

Where did somebody get that $100,000. fee she supposedly charges? I haven’t found that anywhere. Please enlighten us.

      • Jeanne

It’s easy, del wells, just Google sarah Palin speaking fees and there you go. The fees I found went from a low of $75,000 plus first class plane tickets, limo travel from hotel to venue and deluxe hotel v room to $115,000. Now the higher fees were from 2010 & 2011,, so maybe they are lower now. There was a case where she waived the fee for a T party gathering but not for a couple of colleges. Frankly I hope that she IS coming here free of charge, being a millionaire now she can afford plane tickets and fancy hotel rooms. Still, I’d like to know for sure.

      • Jeanne

Bristol Palin gets $15,000 to $30,000 for an appearance, and yes it was on the internet along with the site called. American speakers bureau where they will be happy to work with you to set up a date and time for your event with with Palin . Or who know who else they represent. Unfortunately you will have to give out a lot of info before the y will tell you how much it will cost. Tell Tom if the best answers he has to a discussion is to resort to nasty name calling then perhaps he needs a lesson in maturity. Juvenile.

  • Say What

She is so popular around here that they will have to have a lottery drawing for the tickets! We should be so proud that she selected a school in Alabama! Every word she speaks will make sense to the people in this area!!

    • Say What

Now, if we can just get Rick Santorum to come to Alabama we will all just be crazy with joy!!!!!!

    • If by elitist you mean intelligent COUNT ME IN!

She is popular with the uneducated everywhere. She wears her ignorance as a badge of honor and they take her very existence as justification for their own lazy refusal to get a brain.

      • fvfdgm1

It is not only the “uneducated” who like Palin
but also “educated” people! I’ve heard her speak
& they have been great speeches! Last year, she
spoke at a HS graduation in the Midwest & both
the graduates. & their parents were glad she came.
She gave an inspirational & motivational speech.
She also spoke to the students individually after the
graduation ceremony . These students will remember
        this graduation ceremony.

      • M.Mathis

You progs have so screwed up the learning in the public schools that Palin going to speak at public schools may be the only good education some have had in 4 years at a common core obamanazi education gulag!

      • Bev Cowling

Well said. Palin is not the choice I would make for someone to encourage my child to make her way in this world. She speaks like an uneducated person, is a quitter at everything she has ever done, and her penchant for disseminating misinformation is not something to impart to future generations! This is disgusting. The secrecy surrounding her presence is more than questionable, and this entire engagement leaves a very foul taste in the mouths of educated, open minded, honest and sincere people who want better for their kids.

      • DJ

Sarah Palin has been proven right on innumerable issues and yet the left refuses to give credit where credit is due. Whether Obamacare or IRS intimidation or common core or quantitative easing to name a few, Palin has been right and the left still refuses to listen. Now, it appears Sarah Palin was right once again.(Ukraine)

Sarah Palin is a self-made women with an impressive career who broke into politics without the head start of a powerful husband or father.

City council, mayor, Governor, oil and gas commission, VP candidate, already vetted, been scrutinized every way possible and still standing strong. Long list of accomplishments and over 20 years of experience.

Sarah Palin has offered many statements on issues such as health care, the Federal Reserve’s money printing in funding our federal deficit, Crony Capitalism, energy independence, foreign policy, etc)

She was the first Republican to make a high-profile critique of the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing, though even earlier she had marked the collapsing value of the dollar as one of her issues and has repeatedly been a leading voice against the dangers of ObamaCare and the risks of President Obama’s approach to energy.

She was the catalyst for the takeover of the House , twice as many Governships and lopsided Gop Statehouses with her endorsements and rallies all over the country during the 2010 election.Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during the 2012 election.

  • Gina Gamble Bothem

DON’T DO IT! The collective IQs of the graduating class will bottom out, and they’ll spend the next 3 years shuffling around in their bathrobes, mumbling something about being able to see Alaska from their backyards. To New Hope High School Administration – back out while you still have time! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!! :) :)

  • disgusted american

A reflection of what this school system is about. This is a slap in the face to decent people. This is a very stupid and uninformed person. How degrading to students that just achieved an education. This is how hate is taught. Absolutely a political move, only.

    • JimRed

A classic case of projection- liberal hate shows through your comment, and you project it on to someone with whom you disagree politically. Oh, I forgot; anyone who does not toe the progressive line is a hater…

  • disgusted american

The Superintendent must be a Tea partier. This is a biased move and the parents should be outraged. This crazy would never be allowed in the city school system. Look at how her children turned out.

    • bobbzgirl1

Excellent statement indeed! So timely too! After what was shoved down our throats and right into our living rooms on a holiday weekend, no less! Family values have “gone out the window”, and I am not a “Bible Beater” but I do consider myself a christian. I am not afraid to say that I am fearful of the direction our country is going and what our children are openly exposed to and what society accepts today. I am 54 years old, but I still remember when TV would not allow Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball to sleep in a bed together, even though playing roles of a married couple in a sitcom, twin beds were used and now today, it’s OKAY for two gay male lovers to kiss on the mouth “live” without delayed timing or a “graphic warning” and fox and other networks to air it repeatedly without regard for family and children’s viewers. People, you better stand up for what you believe in!

  • LAC

Funny that we can’t figure out what is wrong with education in Alabama, yet we can’t stand someone that may have opposing views to speak to a group of students. So much for teaching them to listen to others opinions make decisions for yourself? Way to go idiots, keep thinking democrats are saving the US.

  • Amanda E.

I think it’s great that she picked an Alabama school. I think it’s even better she picked a Madison County School!! This will be something that the New Hope Class of 2014 will remember forever. I think it’s degrading how some of these comments on here are toward the New Hope area. These are kids..have some respect!! What if the tables were turned and someone was putting down your child or community!!

  • Bubba

She is using a High School graduation as a political fund raiser? What a novel idea. The sheepeople will line up im sure.

    • Bill

      Bubba,

Go back into the woods where you belong. You’ve been there so long that you wouldn’t know what right looks like if it hit you in the face.

  • MB

As a parent of a child at New Hope, I am very proud to have Sarah Palin speaking at New Hope’s graduation ceremony. I just wish my child was a senior so I could be in attendance! Thank you Sarah Palin for choosing such a wonderful school!

  • Hilarious

This is Tom Foolery. Why would you bring Sarah Palin to speak nonsense at a high school graduation?! i am completely embarrassed for whoever did this!!! Ugh…Raise the bar, people!!!!!

  • Amanda E.

If people would educate themselves a little more. Sarah Palin picks one school to speak at each year for their graduation ceremony. For her to pick a small school in Alabama is great!!

    • Paul

I would say its more of an embarassment than an honor. As a real republican I think it’s disgusting that the citizens of Alabama are still behind this woman.

    • paul

and what a roll model sarah palin is; let’s see…shotgun wedding, wanted to bad books in wasila, took 5 college’s to get her degree, QUIT her job as governer for MONEY! theres more; these are some highlights

      • Keith Lange

        “shotgun wedding,”

What do you mean “shotgun wedding”?

wanted to bad books in wasila,”

No she didn’t. She just asked the librarian what her opinion was if someone wanted any particular books taken out of view. THe librarian said she wouldn’t like it, Palin said “Okay” and that was that.

“took 5 college’s to get her degree”

        Doesn’t mean anything either way.

” QUIT her job as governer for MONEY!”

Yes, because she was probably worried that her and her family were going to be driven into bankruptcy by your fellow Bolshies continually bombarding her with frivolous lawsuits that she had to pay for.

When Jonah Goldberg talked about Liberal Fascism, he wasn’t just whistling dixie.

      • DJ

Sarah Palin finished college with receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science.

It took her five years to get her degrees because she was paying for college out of her own pocket, apart from the scholarships she was awarded, and had to work a semester or two to make the money to attend school.

        Sarah Palin graduated debt free.

      • bobbzgirl1

Ahhh! Be careful my friend. These liberal bullies will get a headache with all this accurate information. Brings to mind the famous line in a movie, I believe it was spoken by Jack Nicholson. ..”you can’t handle the truth”! Sarah Palin scares these people!

      • m mathis

So they eloped….and they’ve been married for how long? After 32 months as governor she leaves Alaska a billion dollar surplus with residents getting much better payments from oil residuals payments and this is a sign of incompetence? Go back to your progressive sand box like a good kiddie and drink your Obama Kool-Aid. Leave politics for the adults in the room!

      • DJ

” QUIT her job as governer for MONEY!”
        —————–

Sarah Palin served 32 out of 48 months the same percentage that Obama served of his Senate term (not including the two-year break he spent campaigning) and accomplished everything she set out to do in that time.

After Sarah Palin accepted John McCain’s offer to run for vice president and became the left’s (media) most attacked and vilified person she returned to Alaska to find a never-ending assault of frivolous ethics complaints paralyzing her ability to govern the state.
        http://articles.ktuu.com/2009-07-09/ethics-complaints_24126005

She resigned because she recognized the cost that the frivolous ethics complaints were having on her state , and she saw how much of her staff’s time and her own time were forced to deal with those issues.

That entire campaign of BS lawsuits was meant to do nothing but hamstring the governor’s office and bankrupt Sarah Palin.

She saw that if she stayed on as Governor it would continue to cost the state millions of dollars in wasted time and resources to defend against false and maliciously ethics complaints and doom it to gridlock.

Those frivolous lawsuits had already cost the state of AK close to $2 million; Sarah Palin had over $500,000 dollars in legal fees.
        http://articles.ktuu.com/2009-07-09/ethics-complaints_24126005

These lawsuits were filed by activists whose goal was to bog down her administration with lawsuits and paperworks & to bankrupt her middle class family. Sarah Palin was responsible for her own legal fees due to the ethic laws at the time. She & her staff were spending 80% of their time defending lawsuits & dealing with FOIA requests. No sooner would one lawsuit go away then another was filed.

Sarah Palin knew that for the sake of her state it would be best if she stepped aside from the governorship. She resigned so the state could move forward.

In an article Sarah Palin said:

“I said, ‘Enough. Political adversaries and their political friends in the media will not destroy my State, my administration, nor my family. Enough.’ I knew if I didn’t play their game any longer, they could not win. I would not retreat, I would instead reload, and I would fight for what is right from a different plane.”

She promised to keep the frivolous anti-Palin law suits away from the Alaskan people and to be more effective on the stump ( supporting candidates , fundraising, etc)

Sarah Palin was truthful on both accounts!

She was the catalyst for the takeover of the House , twice as many Governships and lopsided Gop Statehouses with her endorsements and rallies all over the country during the 2010 election. Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during the 2012 election.

Ahhh all the fine examples of Liberal tolerance and belief in diversity.
Impressive really shows, that tolerance in only available for people that agree with their view. WELL DONE !

Could New Hope get any more backwards? Does any student there actually go on to do anything with their life? This is an embarrassment and this is why everyone thinks Alabama is a joke.

    • Kay Howard

WHAT AN IGNORANT COMMENT!! Our past graduates are doctors, lawyers, veternarians, dentists, orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, successful business owners, and I could go own, how about our war heros, firemen, policemen, paramedics, and should I go on? The people in New Hope are just GOOD PEOPLE! We are People that care about our neighbors, our neighbors children, grandchildren, friends and we are a community full of honest hard working people. So DON’T YOU DARE PUT US DOWN! For that matter don’t put anyone down! Go New Hope, Go Indians!

    • TC

Loads of people from New Hope High have gone on to lead very fruitful lives. To cast such a broad net just makes you look like an idiot.

    • Angela Meeks

Kay Howard I applaud you! Thank you for standing up for the New Hope community! Paul you could not be more uneducated in this matter. I am not from New Hope, however I have lived in New Hope for 12 years and you just insulted my child and 3 step children and all their family who have been here for generations. Two of my kids were scoring 27 on the A.C.T’s in the 7th grade! One of them scored a 34 and is now attending Auburn for aerospace engineering and the other one following right behind. And in case you are uneducated in the matter that was a 27 and a 34 out of 36! My other two are very intelligent as well! Yeah there are a few bad apples in the area but they are everywhere and to assume that everyone in New Hope is “backwards and going no where” is the most ignorant thing a person could say. I may not be a Palin fan but there is no call for putting down the families and children in this community. I have never had a community that I loved being a part of more than this one. We take care of each other here! Like Kay said… HOW DARE YOU!!!

  • Wes

She has morals, intelligence, she’s straight, believes in teaching people how to take care of themselves and above all, she has common sense. No wonder the Libs are attacking her. 47% of the population now receives handouts from the working people, obamacare is just beginning to show just how bad it really is, our reputation in the world is a complete joke. Corruption is the mainstay of this administration. Scandal after scandal. Their answer….just deny it, no matter how much evidence there is! The low information lib voters will believe anything obuma says, it’s absolutely discusting!

    • Jeanne

Wes, I certainly question that Palin is intelligent and not sure about the moral thing either. Her daughter is an unwed mother who despite what her mom said, didn’t marry the baby’s father. Not long after the baby wa s born the girl was filmed in a red neck bar. You could tell by the bull ride. Her son did marry t h e girl he impregnated, but divorced her a year later after the baby was born. Palin , herself , is a one trick pony who just uses the same speech over and over’. Her difficulty in grinding out a degree in journalism is well documented. I’m sure all her books were ghost written because even when she speaks it is convoluted. I’m sure there must be a local successful woman that would b e a better choice.

      • bill

Sarah Palin finished college with receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science.

It took her five years to get her degrees because she was paying for college out of her own pocket, apart from the scholarships she was awarded, and had to work a semester or two to make the money to attend school.

        Sarah Palin graduated debt free.

Sarah Palin was a sitting governor, and at that time, before the Obama campaign and their allies in the press spent months relentlessly smearing her good name, she had the highest approval ratings of any governor in the country. Sarah held progressively higher office; she has many years executive management experience at local, regional and state levels and has a history of being a reformer and taking on powerful interests for the benefit of ordinary people.

And she did all of this as a woman from a modest background who was entirely self-made – without the benefit of a rich or influential father or husband. All of Sarah Palin’s success was due entirely to her own hard work and intelligence.

By the way, you cannot successfully debate Sarah Palin’s positions on issues so you make despicable personal attacks on her children.

    • Smitty49

Wes’ you have to remember that liberals don’t know or understand conservative views, ( can you say CLOSED MINDED ).I wonder how many Alabamian’s are receiving a yearly check from the State Government on the proceeds of the natural resources from the state? Oh yea the State Rainy Day fund was raided wasn’t it! Funding for the Special Needs Children was Tripled in Alaska during her tenure. How is your children’s education Coming along? I applaud New Hope for their selection of speakers and hope they listen to a Business women who knows how to help her people and State!

      • Michael Soroczak

Conservatives are the ones that are closed minded and always seem to be trying to shove their point of view down everyone else’s throat.  Wanna know what really gets conservatives angry?  When people like me stand up to them and force them to back up their statements with facts.

  • MB

Ahhhh…the democrat bottom feeders hit the page. What’s in the Kool-Aid you all are drinking? Wake up and smell the roses! So happy for New Hope High School!

  • Jeanne

Personally I wouldn’t cross the street. This woman couldn’t hack being governor of a state with a population of only approximately 700,000 people and quit halfway. She thought Africa was a country and couldn’t answer the simple question on what she read. It took her over six years and four colleges to finally gat a degree in journalism that qualified her for a job in a small Alaskan tv station as a sports announcer. Being chosen for vice presidntial nominee was a mistake that cost McCain the presidency. I cant see where this rather ditsey woman has much to tell students except if iyou are good looking and learn to preach a political mantra over and over to people who agree with it,then they might be successful. She just can’t quit getting out there even if is a small town high school in Alabama. Wonder what she is up to now?

Not-only does Sarah Palin read the New York Times, she has written several op-eds for the paper! She’s also written for the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the Washington Post, to name a few.

I thought Palin’s answer of reading everything as a fine answer. If Obama answered it the same way,the media would be praising him for be well rounded. Instead they accuse Palin of not reading anything because she said she read everything and don’t know the answer.

The information linked to is also available in many sources. We’ve given you proof of Palin’s competence and intelligence; just because you say its all false is,according to your own words,…”not proof of anything!”

  • Wes

As you all can see the same teleprompter that obuma reads is being read by the lib pundants. No facts, just harse criticism of a decent human being. I guess Sarah just makes them uncomfortable because she is a better person. Lies, deciept, blame everybody else, yep your talking points have been given out by obuma, good luck in life, you will need it! Especially when your going to be forced to be a muslum or chinese. Wake Up!!

  • Sharolyne Harbin

What an honor for Sarah to speak at New Hope’s graduation! Thank you, Mr. Everett for inviting a speaker that the students can admire!

  • indianpride

All of you posting your idiotic comments show that you, in fact, have no education. I am apart of the New Hope High School Class of 2014 and I am thrilled she came to our school. Don’t let your ignorance show here. She is a good person and we can all learn a thing or two from her.

    • Say What

Indianpride, you need to study up on your grammar a bit more. You said that you were proud that Palin “came” (past tense) to your school. She is “coming” (future tense) to your school next week. It does look like Palin is going to the right school to speak — they seem to be intellectual soul-mates!!!!!!

  • Speak The Word

She would make the GREATEST President America has ever had next to Ronald Reagan!!!! All you LOW LIFE LIBS need to find a job and shut your trap.

  • Bubba

She is a nobody! She is not relevant concerning any subject. I just wish she would have disappeared as fast as Mitt Romney did!

  • Branko Pezdi

LOL! We have a president who barely has the intelligence of a dill pickle and his sycophants with the same level of intelligence have a cow on this forum, showing the entire world what depraved and disgusting bottom feeders they really are. Even the guards at the Nazi concentration camps my dad survived were higher forms of life than today’s obamabots.

    • Jeremy Smith

      @Paul
Yes…plenty of the graduates of New Hope High School go on to do great things in life.
My family alone has New Hope graduates that are 2 Masters degreed Teachers, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, a Registered Nurse, several Engineering degrees from both The University of Alabama and Auburn Universary. Even several decorated Marine Corps, and Army Veterans.
All from little old AWESOME New Hope Alabama.
      Thanks for asking!!
      Go Indians

      • Angela Allison

Thanks for the comment Jeremy! I’m a NHHS graduate, who graduated from college and has held a government contracting job for over 24 years. @ Paul – So contrary to what you may believe, NHHS graduates do go on to bigger and better things. We have architects, lawyers, doctors, nurses and a judge that attended New Hope. Don’t forget about the football player that left New Hope to attend the University of Alabama, then go on to play in the NFL for the NY Giants. So, Paul, don’t knock our small town high school! New Hope is full of kind people that will always lend a helping hand if you need one. You shouldn’t go around badmouthing a person’s high school when you know NOTHING about the town nor the people!

    • Concerned

Thank you for realizing he is your President ” We have a President” started your sentence off. Regardless how you feel, that’s your opinion, just long as you recognize the FACTS!!

  • Wes

Your right Michael, she will just teach the kids how to be successful and not depend on the government. That goes against the liberal philosophy. By the way, she DOES believe in God, unlike our president that bashes christianity every where he can. You don’t have to believe me, just look at the shape of the country.

  • Speak The Word

Wes said it BEST. LIBS are the most disgusting people on planet earth. You don’t deserve to breathe the same air the rest of us breathe!!!

    • Red

Lady, you’ve been brainwashed. And so has everybody else, on either “side” of this pathetically 2-dimensional mentality that permeates this country right now, if they are willing to call other people “disgusting” because they have latched on to a political philosophy for any reason.

The only disgusting I see is born from unawareness, and it is common among people in this country. It has no race or gender or specific political affiliation. It IS more prevelant among people of little education though. But I know plenty of highly educated people who are as brainwashed as they can be, so even that measure doesn’t hold up all the time.

      • Michael Soroczak

Dear Red, your reply is really hateful.  You must be one of those ‘good’ Christians.

  • Seamus

These kids… and this area… need to have a better, more intelligent role model than this sound-bite hack who can’t hold a job, who actually disarmed her state militia based on a personal vendetta (gun owners should look that up), and can’t answer one straight question without dipping into her file of prepared 14 syllable retorts.
If this is your future, GOP, then the Idiocracy is here.

  • Wes

Hey seamus, how’s that democratic plan working out for you? Do you need more food stamps? Don’t be such a hater, just educate yourself and remember, there really is not a santa clause, someday we will all pay for the failed policies of the obuma administration. Those dog gone facts just keep getting in the way. Just keep listening to your community organizer that will not allow his college transcrips to be opened lead you to the path of dependency. I believe it’s official, the worst president of all time and people like you are to blame. Enough corruption, impeach him ASAP!

    • Red

That’s not how you spell Santa Claus, idiot. I love it when dumb people call other people dumb, and demonstrate what hypocrits they are in the process.

    • Janie Garbo Goss

Wow, Wes. I would point out the irony of your misspellings while telling someone else to educate himself, but irony would probably shoot right over your pointy little head.

  • Jeremy Smith

Sarah Palin is the best person we could have hoped for! She’s one of the greatest, POSITIVE, role models of this Century. She’s ultra intelligent, conservative, caring, and God fearing. New Hope Schools are extremely fortunate to have her gracing the graduation ceremony!
Anyone out there who believes otherwise can be categorized as COMPLETELY IGNORANT, jealous, threatened, and sour grapes.
Just by reading these comments..one can surmise that Sarah Palin still has the ability to cause seizures in every liberal out there!
Hilarious how scared people are of the Mama Bear from Alaska.
Quiver on Palin haters! Sarah’s coming to Huntsville Alabama, and we don’t care what you think!!
    New Hope rocks!!

    • Red

She is as bright as a dim watt bulb. She only claims to be conservative because the act has made her money. She doesn’t “fear God” anymore than the average yokel, but since that is the “party line”, she tows it. I don’t care who you worship Jeremy. But don’t just be another one of these people because you see other folks doing it. Think.

  • Concerned

And you consider this Breaking News??? I wonder will she bring her grand baby born into this world out of wedlock? Now this would be breaking news!!

    • bobbzgirl1

Are you serious? Sit down, now breathe…you are criticizing her because her daughter had a baby out of wedlock? Really? There must be something going astray in YOUR family…look around. I suggest what just filtered into your living room and all of our living rooms around this great nation this past weekend thanks to ESPN and FOX affiliates, etc approving of two gay men kissing each on the mouth is of a little more serious in nature…why don’t you concern yourself about that and lay off of Sarah.

  • TC

OK, first off – WOW at the number of posts this has generated.
If she (Mrs. Palin) does nothing else, she sure does spark debates. Overall it is good when a high profile person speaks at any high school, to be honest; and, she is sure to inspire the young in some fashion.
However, I do not agree with the things she has said and done. I supported her, to my embarrassment, all during her and McCain’s campaign. I felt she brought a nice down-home, refreshing outlook to politics. I also felt that McCain’s bunch was forcing her to regurgitate information about which she knew little, and it seemed unfair to dislike her based on that assumption. I thought if she had only stuck to her strengths like family, conservatism, honesty, and that backwoods charm then she would have come across a nicer, smarter person. BUT then came the post-election Palin, oh man was I disappointed. She was still trying to pass herself off as a knowledgeable person on all things political, at which point I decided that I was completely wrong about her and she was just dumb – I mean she just kept opening her mouth. Then she just up and quits on the people of Alaska… I cannot support her in any way after that.

I wish all the best to the graduating class at New Hope High. May you all be better people than those who came before you.
    Aspire and you will inspire.

    • Bill

Presidental material she may or maynot be. But it’s pretty sad when the President of the United States can’t keep France in check. This President has made OUR country the laughing stock of the planet. Now we have Russia sticking their noses up at us because we have a WEAK President!!!!
Let’s let the kids in New Hope come to their OWN conclusions about Ms. Palin. These kids are OUR future and lets hope they crasp a better understanding of what’s right and wrong. It’s apparent that the present administartion and the GOP have screwed it ALL up. By the way, I’m a Republician.

  • Concerned

Maybe she will explain how to deal with having a grand baby out of wedlock. This is setting a bad example the little children graduating!! So pathetic. I do not believe she randomly picked No Hope to speak at the graduation. There is a connection somewhere inside. Maybe her daughter will encourage the graduates and give advice on not having to marry and still have your baby!! An you idiots cheering this on??

    • Red

This is a completely idiotic comment, whoever you are. I don’t like Sarah Palin for the SAME reason I don’t like your stupid comment here. I’m glad you are being ignored. I should have ignored you as well.

  • Yellow Dawg

Love it. Media ho and tea party twit speaking in my county. Advise the students to quit before they serve out their term. Good Gawd. Save us from failed Republican politicians and their repugnant self righteousness, self service, and self aggrandizement.

    • bobbzgirl1

Where is the “report comment” on this statement???? I think that your personal name calling is a little out of line buddy!!

  • Red

Christ… If this were MY graduation ceremony, I would be forced to either protest it, disrupt it or not show up. I can’t believe that anybody with the title of “Dr.” would call this speaker “prominent”. Famous… yes. Popular among some people… yes. But not prominent. For a person with a doctorate to misuse such an important word as that, is just rediculous.

Most of the country sees this lady as the clown that she really is. The other people who still think that she is a wonderful speaker, would probably think that no matter what they heard her say… no matter what. Or they’ve got the notion that to abandon their support of her would be like joining “the enemy”, or something.

    • M.Mathis

You know you are right…and such a “doctor” would also know how to spell “ridiculous”…bless your heart!

  • Jeanne

You don’t think she is being paid to come, do you? Is she paying for her plane ticket or private jet? What about any security she thinks she might need? If so, where is the money coming from? I heard she doesn’t work cheap.

    ROBERT DUVALL:

“People who hate Sarah Palin are mostly
ugly women and sissy guys with no testosterone”.

    • Red

Just curious why you think John McCain and Sarah Palin lost the election in 2012. Is it because most of the country are ugly women and sissy guys?

Comments like yours paints a picture of you much clearer than anything I could say about you. I don’t even feel like it is necessary to insult you. I would almost have to stop you from insulting yourself to do it. Keep up the good work, sir. It’s almost too easy.

      • TEX

        Can you read?!

Those are words of the great Robert Duvall.

John McCain lost, not Sarah Palin.
If she was allowed to go after “community
organizer” and exposed him as an empty
suit, a socialist and a fraud, Johnny McLane
would be in the White House today.

And Barry would be community organizing
        on South Side of Chicago.

      • Jeanne

Well I don’t know about Robert Duvall, red, but I was seriously considering voting for John McCain until he turned up with Palin. She started talking in that wacky convoluted way, exposing her ignorance. So I took into account McCain’s age, history of cancer and it scared me so bad I ran for the door. I’m sure I wasn’t alone. In my mind she cost McCain the presidency, huge mistake on the parties part.

    • lindamo27

TEX, Robert Duvall said that? Wow and I have always loved him both as an actor and for his personality. I am a Republican (at least registered as such), but I vote with my mind and by who the person I believe will do the best job. I am almost 64 so at this point in my life I may be an ugly white woman in someone’s eyes, but who gives a crap, my opinions don’t depend on my age, good looks, gender, or anything else, as long as I can back up what I have to say and don’t talk out the wrong hole in my body as some in the world of politics and those that sometimes make comments just to throw out insults and be derogatory about others. Well for them I hope that it makes them feel superior to some of us, but to our children who will be graduating and trying to make good decisions I pray, yes I do pray politically correct or not, that they get someone to speak at their graduation that will talk to them, not at them, not above them, but giving them the encouragement to stand on their own 2 feet, ask for help when needed and become law abiding citizens, who want to make this country better for themselves and those to follow. Oh and thanks for that little quote, I guess I will have to do some research on the guy I thought was a bit more polite and reasonable in the future.

  • fayeo

This should be about the students that has worked very hard to get This far in life NOT PALIN.that should be their NIGHT

    • Jeanne

You are so right, faygo, it IS the kids night to shine not a semi-political circus. Go back to the good ole days where the principal congratulates the graduates, the valedictorian and salutorian give a little speach to their classmates and it really is all about the kids moving toward adulthood.

      • lindamo27

Jeanne you are so right! When I graduated June 5, ’68 “Pop” Whalen of Glen Burnie High School, Glen Burnie, MD spoke to all of us, we had the regular valedictorian and others of the class speak, but it was for US not for someone who wants to push an agenda, be seen doing something so nice for our kids and not asking anything in return. Maybe they won’t, but why can’t our kids stay kids for just one more night, one more time they will spend together as a class before moving on with their adult lives, some staying here, others maybe joining the military, others doctors/nurses, teachers, parents, etc. I moved when my husband and I got married because he went into the Army in ’70 2 yrs after we graduated high school. We went home on visits but missed many events both with families and friends that we were now separated from due to the distance we lived from home. We now live here in Madison, AL, he retired 1 Jan ’91 and we decided to make this our last home. We still visit family, we try to make some reunions of high school and keep in touch with old friends, thank God for Facebook, lol, but even though where I was born in NJ and family in PA and our last homes in MD they will always be our homes as well, but now we are living here making memories with our children and grandsons and friends we have made along the way. So again, I ask, let the kids have one more night to be kids, enjoy the friendships and memories and hopefully come to a high school reunion or more even, but let them let the teachers, principals and other mentors speak that night, college is where these individuals usually speak and at that time they are adults moving on with careers, this night they are teens leaving their childhood and will embark on their lives tomorrow. Can’t we do that even for one night? I think so.

    • TEX

      It is their night.

      They are lucky and fortunate
to have SARAH PALIN The Super – Star
of American politics give a barn burning
      speech at their graduation.

It will be unforgettable night for all present.

      • bobbzgirl1

Well said! What a night to remember! There will be future leaders come out of that class because of this night. Look around people, what do you see. This world is going to H** in a hand basket and it’s going quick!

      • Michael Soroczak

The country going to H#!! in a hand basket?  And those kids exposed to Palin will lead the way.  Ignorance in the valley of some of the greatest science advances is truly amazing.

  • Jeanne

I looked it up. Sarah Palin charges a hundred thousand dollars per appearance…that is her standard fee. Do you think she is doing this for free? Somehow I doubt it. Any money spent to bring her here would have been better spent on scholarships for the kids sitting in that audience.

      • Tom

She found it on the internet, so it’s got to be true.

I wonder how many of these panty waste liberals will show up to protest her from being there… oh wait, their ankle bracelets won’t let them leave their couches while they eat bon-bons and watch Jerry Springer… nevermind…

  • Jeremy Smith

    Hey @ Red..
I do think for myself. Unlike the Liberal Borg.
The individuals that have Sarah Palin making a Commencement speech at our School are nothing short of Geniuses.
For nothing else than bringing all of the Liberal, badmouthed, sour grapes, pathetic people that they are. Welcome to all of you who are now out of the woodwork.
Now go back to where you were.
Mired in mediocrity, and lost in life.
This is America. You’re welcome to exercise the right to Free Speech.
    God Bless America

  • lindamo27

As a registered Republican and a woman, 2 strikes in many peoples books, I feel that any political party representative with such a high profile would be unfair to all candidates, those running and being supported by a person, etc. She says many things that I may or may not agree with, but, feel that a high school graduation is not the place she should be doing this. Not sure if she is getting any fee for appearing, I would hope not, as our school systems have no funds for such things. Now if it were a political figure from Alabama, one who may have graduated from the school or the school system he/she will speak to is ok to an extent as long as it pertains to the students and their journey they will begin after graduation and affecting all of them in one way or another. There also should be no fees charged as the students who will be graduating next year or even down the road will suffer as I don’t think there is a budget in the school systems of Alabama that covers paying for a speaker. It is not because it is Mrs. Palin nor any other party, it is because I feel the kids should have someone speaking that is part of the state, even the governor, but again no political talks only encouragement and how each individual no matter what their race, creed, GPA, etc is, with hard work and wanting to succeed that they can do so. Not all will be millionaires, not all will have political aspirations, but they will be auto mechanics, waitresses/waiters/servers, managers of stores, work in volunteer areas for no pay except the way they feel doing it, teachers, parents who raise wonderful children or help those who fall on hard times, etc. This is what our kids need to hear today. How with high unemployment of college students, layoffs of others, and hard to get a job, they need encouragement to continue and push ahead. God bless those graduating and may they all be able to reach their goals and dreams no matter how long it takes.

  • D C

Thank You Mrs. Palin, just watching the left wing nuts melt down on this page with their lies and innuendo has brought me great entertainment.

  • bobbzgirl1

You people amaze me! Seriously, you sound as if you had rather your precious Joe Biden and his miserable attempt at opening his mouth, be your choice of speaker for our Valley’s children with their future at stake.
Please! And, some of you need to get a life if all that you have to do is count AND list Palin’s grammatical errors (they, themselves being perfect of course) Spend a little time with the other team, Biden should keep you REALLY busy. Just sayin’…(there’s a word for you)
I am fortunate enough to have acquired two tickets to see and HEAR her, and I am absolutely elated! Have a good day.

  • terri

Hope she at lest conciders the word humble and mentions what the good lord tried to help her with on her resume she misunderstood. X

  • Mary Barnett

I think that all this craziness is focused on the wrong thing! I am glad that it will be a rememberable graduation for my nieces. This is the end of one chapter in their life and the rest of their lives beginning. It’s a graduation not a political forum! She may have some motivation things to share with the Class of 2014 and we should not judge! It took me 5 yrs to get a 4 yr degree but who cares! I GOT IT and no one can every take that away from me!!!! Please look at this a positive! she is not here to speak on political views or ideas that she may have it is a commencement and we need to spread the message that there is no limit to what one can do; you must BELIEVE in yourself and never settle! They have their whole lives in front of them and this is the beginning of their future!! Hard work and dedication will continue to make them striving individuals in society! Let’s believe in our children and let them know their are NO LIMITS!!!!

    • Janie Garbo Goss

Did you seriously say that you have a degree? From where? Teabilly University? From the grammatical errors in your tirade I find it hard to believe that you even made it through high school. No wonder you think that ignorant woman is worth hearing.

      • TEX

You libtards, how about ignorant woman
Hillary Alinsky Benghazi, a woman who
lived life of corruption, endless scandals,
life of pathological lies, and not one,
        not one single political accomplishment.

SARAH PALIN’s life is symbol of self
        Highly accomplished woman!

      • Mary Barnett

I may not have spelled everything correctlyor used the correct punctuation; however your narrow minded personality obviously didn’t get the message I was sending once a again an ignorant person like yourself chooses to feed off of negativity! The point is our children are the future and quit bad mouthing a person when you are not even going to be there to hear her speech! HOw are you soooo above and superior when you are focused on depicting one’s comment instead of reading the true statement and positive feed that was intended????? Have a great day for your ignorant self. So glad to see you have NO job or anything better to do with your time that to feed your own selfish negative behavior and ego by posting comments like you have!

Are there not distinguished speakers and role models in Huntsville? Sarah Palin is a rabble rouser, Dr. David Copeland what can she deliver other than hateful rhetoric that is unbecoming even for a sleazy politician.

    • DJ

It seems that you are are poorly informed about Sarah Palin. Don’t believe everything the media and Hollywood is telling you about Sarah Palin.

She went to India , Hong Kong, World Knowledge Forum in South Korea ,etc where she talked about the economy, the deficit, government spending, gun control, the environment, the rising cost of food, energy, Egypt and other foreign policy related issues. She did unscripted Q&A’s

She was the catalyst for the takeover of the House , twice as many Governships and lopsided Gop Statehouses with her endorsements and rallies all over the country during the 2010 election.Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during the 2012 election.

Just because someone does not think Sarah Palin should be speaking at a High School commencement does not mean they are liberal of think that some Democrat should be speaking. I find her unintelligent and rather annoying as a person, she is the classic “I date her cause she looks good” type of person.

I would rather stay traditional with only classmates and principal speaking. You want a political speech, have her do one at the VBC with paid tickets and then see how many people show up. It is a captive audience that has to sit through whatever is setup. I know as a student about to graduate I would want to choke someone for setting up more “guests” to keep talking.

Congratulations to the graduates at New Hope! They are truely gonna loose their innocence! Was Daffy Duck or Peter Pan not available?

    Sarah Palin – SP
    Lame Stream Media – LSM

Death Panel. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 1 – LSM: 0
Party like it’s 1773. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 2 – LSM: 0
Blood libel. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 3 – LSM: 0
Revere warned British too. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 4 – LSM: 0
Fannie/Freddie too expensive. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 5 – LSM: 0
With president O, Putin invades Ukraine. Media says she is wrong.
But she is right. SP: 6 – LSM: 0
    Etc.,
    Etc.

There’s a pattern – she’s right, they’re wrong. I betcha a more researched score would be closer to SP: 20 – LSM: 0. And in each case it follows that the true ‘gaffes’ were made by the media.

So bill, where are your references? Links to your “facts”? Show us how you came by this list. Or are we supposed to just nod and say “Wow! SP 23-0″ just because you made this cute little list?

This is for lindamo27 and all of the rest of you liberal bullies out there…
your philosophy of “let the kids be kids for one more night” is a bunch of malarkey, get your heads out of the sand! These “kids” are not kids, they stopped being “kids” when they were in the third or fourth grade. I know, my daughter teaches the sixth grade. It’s unbelievable what these kids know, what they say, and how little respect that they have for their elders and for human life in general. Parents, you are failures! Face it, People like Sarah Palin scares you. I’m telling you, we better get our act together and stop all this bickering among ourselves. Respect each others views, work together….and God’s sake do a better job of raising your “kids”!

  • Tom

When I first read this article this morning, I applied for tickets to see this graduation ceremony. I just got back from lunch, and have been notified that I have been awarded two tickets for this event! I can’t wait to hear her speak.

  • Red

I would also like to add, that Herpes is arguably one of the best-known viruses among all humanity, which make it very very popular as well.

You GO Mrs. Palin!! The GOP will ONLY benefit from your self-serving actions that are apparently interpreted by most “diehard alabama republicans” as doing the Lord work. So… I applaud that.

  • Jim

At the time, I thought it was a good idea by McCain to chose her for his running mate. I thought, hmmm…She should get the womens vote, she appears successful after being housewife, mayor then governor. It “seemed” like a good idea at the time. The problem was that when she began to speak, her whole persona started to fall apart, she was faking that she hunted, and had some outrageous comments like knowing Russian Foreign policy because she could see them over the Artic Ocean from Alaska.. I mean I have tried to like her, but to me she is like a crazy relative that you can only tolerate so much before you hope they leave or you leave.. I wish the best for her, but I think she is poison to anywhere she goes…

Tell me lib or are you a RINO:

      Name ONE SINGLE major political
      accomplishment of Hillary Rotten BENGHAZI
and I will name at least several spectacular
political achievements of Gov. SARAH PALIN.

      • TruthLivesHere

Hillary knows how to scream “What difference does it make”. And that may very well be her signature achievement. We can only hope.

    • DJ

No other person in politics, man or woman, has had as much hate, vitriol and lies told about them as Sarah Palin but she has not faltered or retreated and in fact has become stronger

Soon after Palin entered the national political scene as John McCain’s running mate, she was attacked as a diva, a clothes hog, an irresponsible mother by the media.

The media decided that nothing was too personal to attack-including her marriage, her children, her faith, and her wardrobe. The media also distorted Palin’s positions and beliefs beyond recognition. And almost every word out of her mouth was spun as a “flub”

The media hounded her, and her family, on a daily basis, flat out making crap up They claimed her baby was not her own; used despicable language to attack her, and her family; sent numerous reporters to Wasilla to dig up dirt on her ; AP reporters “factchecked” her book; her email hacked by the son of a Democrat congressman, political operatives filing endless bogus ethic charges designed to bankrupt a working family with a special need toddler and much more.

“And all I could hear from my friends in the network media elite was, “Let’s bring her down. I hope these rumors bring her down.” And at a party where there were people from the New York Times, all they would talk about is the rumors that they hoped would bring her down.
They did not know her. They didn’t know anything about her. But they wanted to bring her down.”

  • Exodus E Exodus

It’s certainly not a surprise to me that the tickets for this event sold out so quickly – there were 96 request emails within an hour of the announcement about Sarah Palin being the keynote speaker … Big Mama Grizzly is TRUSTED in Alabama **__**

Why do thinking Conservatives and Independents LISTEN to Madame Steel Spine,?

    because

    *she loves America
*has a stellar, consistently conservative, FULLY TRANSPARENT (!!!) governing record… which MATCHES her Rhetoric
*she is an AWESOME Corruptocrat BUTTKICKER (YEAH)
*her JUDGEMENT wrt decision-making by Obama has been CORRECT, REPEATEDLY

and, like LTC Allen West, she has put the interests and welfare of her fellow Americans AHEAD of her own career

Watch the DVD Documentary “The Undefeated” to get the full story concerning Gov Sarah Palin’s amazing tenure as AK Governor, from those who served with her … because her detractors in the Permanent Political Class, from both private political parties, will try and distort her record …. she can’t be bought off y’see, and is such a CORRUPTOCRAT Buttkicker! …. **__**

  • Dan

Following idiots like Sarah Palin is exactly why the Republican Party can’t field a President. People pay to hear her talk and all her rhetoric is nothing more than hate speech like Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck. If it was not for Mississippi and Football in Alabama this state would be at the bottom of the barrel because of following fools like this right down the tubes rather than looking and moving forward. This woman thought the Queen still ran England. She quit as Governor at mid term for no other reason than Fox News offered her more money. Then they fired her after seeing what an idiot she is. You really have to be stupid to not be smart enough to be on Fox and Friends. If you think she cares anything about these kids your as nuts as she is. She is only interested in the money and the saddest part is the people that want to give her their hard earned money. They should do something useful with their money like give to St Jude Children’s Hospital rather than throwing at a troll like Palin.

    • TEX

      Hey libtard,
You are hatefull, bucket of puke, bed wetting
      libtard fruitcake.

If Hillary Rotten Alinsky Benghazi lives long
enough to run in 2016, Gov. SARAH PALIN
will mop the floor with that corrupt,
      pathological liar, repulsive hag.

      Hilda beast for Jail 2016!!!

      SARAH PALIN For President 2016!!!!!

    • TruthLivesHere

Dan, calm down. Go max out your EBT card like a good obamunist and wait for next month.

    • DJ

“She quit as Governor at mid term for no other reason than Fox News offered”

Sarah Palin served 32 out of 48 months the same percentage that Obama served of his Senate term (not including the two-year break he spent campaigning) and accomplished everything she set out to do in that time.

After Sarah Palin accepted John McCain’s offer to run for vice president and became the left’s (media) most attacked and vilified person she returned to Alaska to find a never-ending assault of frivolous ethics complaints paralyzing her ability to govern the state.

She promised to keep the frivolous anti-Palin law suits away from the Alaskan people and to be more effective on the stump ( supporting candidates , fundraising, etc)

Sarah Palin was truthful on both accounts!

She was the catalyst for the takeover of the House , twice as many Governships and lopsided Gop Statehouses with her endorsements and rallies all over the country during the 2010 election.Sarah Palin also had a very strong hand in the party’s few successes during the 2012 election.

  • DJ

Sarah Palin was a sitting governor, and at that time, before the Obama campaign and their allies in the press spent months relentlessly smearing her good name, she had the highest approval ratings of any governor in the country. Sarah held progressively higher office; she has many years executive management experience at local, regional and state levels and has a history of being a reformer and taking on powerful interests for the benefit of ordinary people.

She was a fiscal conservative who made the largest veto cuts in Alaska history, reined in the reckless waste, cut her own expenses, sold the governor’s private jet, let the personal chef go, and put away billions of dollars in savings for Alaska for a rainy day.

She was a tough CEO who went toe to toe with the Big Oil companies and fought to get the best deal for Alaskans, the resource owners she represented.

Taking on corruption and crony capitalism has always been a cornerstone of Sarah Palin’s agenda; in Alaska she did take on the old-boy network — the oil companies and her own party .As oil and gas commissioner, Sarah Palin called out the unethical practices of members of her own party. As Governor, she sought to end the back room deals and improper relationships between oil companies and politicians.

And she did all of this as a woman from a modest background who was entirely self-made – without the benefit of a rich or influential father or husband. All of Sarah Palin’s success was due entirely to her own hard work and intelligence.
