Just another way to get passed over. Resumes only get a 6-8 second glance because of the volume. Google it and see. Another issue is most companies want a plain text copy with no formatting because resumes are scanned so that a “buzz word search” can be performed. Those buzz words are how your resume gets to the hiring manager, not pretty colors and wild shapes.
