HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – As of 10:45 a.m. more than 300 people had come through the doors of the Verizon Wireless call center in Huntsville to apply for openings announced earlier this week.
Verizon announced earlier this week it will hire 400 full-time employees in Alabama this year. More than 300 of the available positions are for customer service-related opportunities at the Huntsville call center.
“We’re looking for customer service professionals who are looking to start a career with a technology company here in the Huntsville call center. We handle hundreds of calls a day and we’re looking for employees who have a dedication on delivering a great experience for our customers,” explains Huntsville Call Center Director Kerry Wendel.
