UNA Committee to Decide Student’s Future After Threat Arrest
FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – A University of North Alabama student is accused of threatening to shoot up the school.
Now, a school judicial committee will decide his future on campus.
Brian Mitchell, 22, turned himself into police Friday afternoon and was charged with making a terrorist threat. Mitchell is accused of posting a threat on a social site putting the campus on alert.
Investigators were able to track down the anonymous threat by working with officials with the app Yik Yak.
