R.U.F.F. Hosts Kickball Tournament for Autism Awareness

R.U.F.F. is hosting the inaugural Kickin’ it R.U.F.F. For Autism Awareness event on May 10, 9:00am to 6:00pm at Discovery Middle School.  The public is welcome to join 32 kickball teams playing in a double elimination tournament supporting Autism/ Asperger’s Syndrome in the Madison County area.

Many diverse organizations from our area will also be there to give information about the cause as well as organizations that benefit children and families in Madison County.

This is a free event with music, entertainment, children’s activities, food vendors and sales vendors. Children’s activities include a gaming truck, moon bounce, face painting and balloon art. Bricks for Kidz and Mind Gear Labs will have fun activities for the children to do.

Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:45am.

Attendees will learn of the many resources available to them while enjoying a fun, family-filled atmosphere. This is our second community event with the first being our Trunk or Treat this past October which brought in over 700 people.
