University Kia Presents Checks to Schools & Teachers for Classroom Supplies and Upgrades

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – West Madison Elementary school received a generous donation Friday from a local car dealership to upgrade its technology.

University Kia presented West Madison with a $4,500 check as part of the dealership’s “Drive for Education” program. West Madison Principal Dr. Daphne Jah and Sally Bruer from the MCS Central Office accepted the check from University Kia General Manager Arthur Seaton and Maurice Dobbins.

Seaton said University Kia is proud to partner with area schools to give children resources they need to succeed. University Kia also presented a $500 check to West Madison 3rd grade teacher Allyson Word for classroom supplies.

University Kia also gave $4,500 to Monrovia Elementary for technology and $500 to Monrovia 2nd grade teacher La’Tasha Webster as part of it’s Drive for Education campaign.
