HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones” returns Sunday night for a fourth season and before the premiere, fans can revisit seasons past with a mega-marathon.
Starting Friday morning at 11 a.m. C.T. HBO2 will air all 30 episodes of the series twice, in a run-up to Sunday night’s Season 4 debut.
HBO is also offering a newly updated online viewer’s guide, with in-depth features and behind-the-scenes videos.
As the Los Angeles Times reported, there are also character profiles, episode recaps and “interactive maps of the Seven Kingdoms and Essos, the land being overtaken by Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons.”
The fourth season of the series is expected to focus on content from the latter half of the “Game of Thrones” book series’ third novel, “A Storm of Swords.”
Fans of that book series – which the HBO show is based on – are currently waiting for the sixth book in the series, “The Winds of Winter,” to be finished. In advance of the Season 4 premiere, author George R.R. Martin released a new chapter on his website titled “Mercy,” which is available here.
