Three Charged After Stealing From Auburn Locker Room

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn Police arrested 3 Auburn University students for stealing thousands of dollars worth of football memorabilia including jerseys worn by Cam Newton and Bo Jackson.

According to the Opelika-Auburn newspaper, police say the students stole 20 items from the football locker room totaling more than 16 thousand dollars.

A number two jersey worn by Cam Newton was one of the items along with a Bo Jackson jersey.

Police charged the three students, John D. Williams, Nicholas Calvin and Zachary Keeler with burglary and theft.

All of the items were recovered.
