Early Morning Apartment Fire In Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville firefighters responded to an early morning fire at Twickenham Village apartments.

Firefighters say when they arrived on the scene heavy flames were coming from an apartment as well as in a breezeway.

WHNT News 19 was told a female resident jumped from her second story apartment and sustained non-life threatening injuries.


Firefighters say approximately 30 to 40 people are displaced.

Due to the number of people displaced by the fire, the American Red Cross is setting up a shelter.
