Spring Break is here and for many Tennessee Valley school children that means vacation time.

If your family is headed south to the lovely beaches of Alabama, check out the official “Gulf Beaches” app for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.

The app is free to download on your Android or Apple mobile device and can help you coordinate your trip more easily. Just search “Gulf Beaches” and it’ll pop up.

You can use the app to browse different accommodations and entertainment choices – or search the latest specials on beach condos. There are also helpful maps, along with discounts and coupons. The dining section is a great way to find new restaurants, check if they take advanced reservations and more.

Don’t forget to check out the official Gulf Shores & Orange Beach website from The Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism group as well. To help you plan the perfect getaway, the website features easy-to-navigate categories: eat, stay, play and more. You can also use the deal finder for up-to-date discounts on lodging and more.

There’s even an “events” section to help you discover exciting happenings.

Looking for an alternative route to the beach? Check out the Scenic Byway App. To get a preview of the hiking and biking trails… download the Backcountry App.

Happy travels!
