UPDATE: Decatur Police Seize 35 lbs of Pot, $10,000 in Cash

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – ┬áDecatur police seized more than 35 pounds of pot and more than $10,000 in cash at a residence on Cedar Lake Road.

We got a viewer tip about this bust. When we reached out to Decatur police, we discovered that two people from 613 Cedar Lake Road had been charged with trafficking.

Mario Gibson was charged Trafficking in Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Rosie Gibson was charged with Trafficking in Cannabis.

The marijuana seized had a street value of approximately $46,000, according to Decatur police.

Mario Gibson’s bond is set at $25,500 cash only. Rosie Gibson’s bond is set at $2,500.
