HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Did you wear green today?  We hope so. It's St. Patrick's Day!

Even though the annual St. Patrick's Day parade in Huntsville was held over the weekend, there are still ways to observe the holiday, pay homage to the Irish and still hang onto the green in your wallet.

Lucky shamrocks are in the air -- and on your phone.   And you can spread them for free.

With the St. Patrick's Day photo free app, you can add the luck of the Irish to any picture and then share them online.

You can choose from leprachaun hats, pots of gold, and four-leaf clovers, among other things.

(Here are some other fun St. Patrick's Day apps!)

Are you feeling lucky today?  There's a free app in which you can answer easy questions for entries to claim prizes.

LiveToWin allows you to rack up thousands of entries for big ticket items or $500 cash.  Winners are announced daily.  From a look at the map of who's won in the past, there are lots of lucky people all over the southeast.

Happening in Huntsville today to celebrate the Irish, it's the 10th Annual St. Patrick's Day beer tasting with Huntsville Young Professionals at Straight to Ale.

For just ten dollars, you get four beer tastings, St. Patrick`s Day trivia, prizes, tours of the brewery, discounted Straight to Ale pints, and food by the Peppered Pig.

It goes from 5:30pm to 9pm.

If art is more your thing, you can uncork your creativity at My Spirited Art and come home with a festive door sign.

For about the cost of dinner and a movie, $35, you'll get all of the painting supplies you need: smocks, brushes, easels, and canvasses.  Then, you'll come home with a festive piece of art that celebrates the Irish.

The event is from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the studio on Whitesburg Drive. Anyone age 5 and older is welcome.
