Two Airlifted to Hospital After Wreck in Falkville

Car Involved in Falkville Wreck

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Two people are now in critical condition after an accident in Falkville.

It happened just before 8:00am Saturday morning in the 1400 block of Highway 431 in southern Morgan County.

The Ebenezer Volunteer Fire Department responded to a head-on collision between a pickup truck and a car. Officials at the scene say the driver of the truck was not hurt. They say both the driver and the passenger in the car were trapped for about an hour.

Rescue workers used jaws to free the male driver and female passenger. Both were taken by air to Huntsville Hospital with serious injuries.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the wreck. They have not yet released names.
