DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) –  Police in Decatur arrested eight people Wednesday accused of selling drugs.

Police say undercover officers purchased everything from prescription pills to illegal narcotics.

It’s a case officers have been working on for months.

Police arrested a total of eight people on 17 felony charges and one misdemeanor charge.

Here is a list of the people charged in this investigation:

  • Diane Walker
  • Derrick Collier
  • Caleb Dozier
  • Dyron Primus
  • Joshua Runager
  • Brian Belisle
  • Mason Rogers

UPDATE: There are only 7 names listed here. One additional person was arrested and charged, but he was found not guilty and his record expunged. WHNT News 19 has honored a request to remove his name and picture, since his criminal record was cleared.

Officers made the arrests Wednesday either during traffic stops, at the homes of the suspects or at another residence.

Police say Dyron Primus was already in jail in Decatur on unrelated charges and Joshua Runager already had two active felony warrants.

Police say some of the people arrested were either out on bond on other charges or on probation.
