A SKS isn’t a assault rifle. It’s semi automatic. Congatulation’s on the drug bust…GREAT job!!!!!!

Three pistols and a semi-automatic rifle? Well, first of all, I have at least that many weapons at my house. . . Second, that’s NOT an assault rifle but is one helluva neat little carbine which I’d happily bid on at the next police auction. Third, they aren’t “clips.” They’re MAGAZINES.

But, as I said in the other drug bust earlier today, just another wasted effort in the fabulously ineffective and utterly failed war on drugs. See that pile of money on the table? If the drugs weren’t illegal, that pile of money might be a few hundreds – but we wouldn’t be reading about this.

An SKS is no more of an “assault” rifle than my 30-06 deer rifle….BTW there is no such animal as an ASSAULT RIFLE……there are automatic rifle that is primarily carried by military and LEO and a very small few citizens (pull the trigger and you get an ammo dump) or there’s a semi-auto rifle.. (…you pull the trigger once for each bullet)….just like my 19 round MAGAZINE in my “ASSAULT” Glock hand gun that the local police and I carry! Nice job getting the crap and cocaine off the street though!!

Looks like the SKS is assaulting that table it’s leaning on. Give me a break, there is no such animal as an assault rifle

Come on WHNT…. An SKS is not an assault weapon. It’s this kind of sensationalism that distorts the mind of America. You have damaged your credibility on this one.
    Great job HPD!
