The Perfect Bacon Bowl is a popular item. It made the transition from “As Seen on TV” to “Big-Box” stores.
It costs $10.99.
The Perfect Bacon Bowl is actually a mold.
You wrap the bacon around the mold the way the directions say and then cook it. You can cook it in a microwave, oven, or toaster oven.
The first strange thing was the directions say you have to use cooking oil or spray on the mold. But you aren’t supposed to spray or pour it direction on the mold. You are supposed to spray a paper towel and then use the paper towel to wipe down the mold.
After you get the bacon on the mold, you pack it down to form the Bacon Bowl.
The fun part on the infomercial shows what you can, allegedly, do with the Bacon Bowl. Once you can get the bowl of bacon made, you could fill it with mac-n-cheese or chili. Maybe a burger would be good in your Bacon Bowl.
But here is another issue. The infomercial and the packaging, I think, suggest you are getting a big bowl made of bacon.
In fact, what is actually made around the mold is a small Bacon Bowl.
We got some mac-n-cheese and got about two tablespoons in the Bacon Bowl. The packaging shows a burger on the Bacon Bowl. If you have a burger with your Bacon Bowl it will probably be a slider. It’s just not big.
The Bacon Bowl we made a Deal. It did make bowls of bacon. I’m not sure I would buy one of these for myself.
