Woman Says Grandson, 3, Helped Save Her After Fall
LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A Limestone County woman had a scary moment on Thursday. She fell and broke her heel.
Cletis Brooks said her children were at work, but her grandchildren were there with her. She credits 3-year-old Isaiah with saving the day.
Isaiah was at her side when she fell, she said. She couldn’t get to her wheelchair, and try as he might, Isaiah couldn’t get the wheelchair unlocked. So, he ran to get help.
“He goes upstairs and he said, Matt help, I need help, and Matthew looked at him and said what do you need help for? He said I need help Nana,” said Brooks.
Isaiah’s a regular little caregiver. He did what he could to make sure his grandmother was okay. Nice job, young man!
