The C4 Conference (Cornerstone Conference for Community Compassion) is hosting Beyond Relief at the Jackson Center, 6001 Moquin Drive, in Huntsville on February 25th from 8:30 am to 3 pm.

Often programs addressing poverty center around "betterment" - free food, free clothing, free utility or rent assistance.  Yet, could it be that this actually enables poverty and creates entitlement and dependency?

"Beyond Relief" will provide opportunities to listen, learn, share, vision, and collaborate for actions yielding long-term solutions for economic, educational, social, and /or spiritual poverty according to Christ's relational model, so all parties give and receive as working together for positive social change.
