Womack Wrestles for History at State

Scottsboro, Ala.  (WHNT) Two seasons ago, Scottsboro wrestler Brandon Womack set the national record for pins in a season at 64. This weekend at the Alabama State Wrestling meet, he has a chance to top his own record along the way to winning a 6th consecutive State title.

“I’m just working hard and doing what I love. Other people don’t look at it that way, they look at me like I’ve done something special and I guess I have but just want to keep working hard and be the best I can be.”

The mark for pins in a season, is just one one ten records Womack can break before taking his talents to Cornell next Fall. Click the video player above for some insight on what makes Womack so successful.
