Independent Candidate Wants Rep. Mo Brook’s Job

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Former NASA engineer and Huntsville resident Mark Bray says he is a political outsider, but due to the gridlock in D.C., he feels now is the time to bring new ideas to Capitol Hill.

Bray will face off against incumbent (R) Rep. Mo Brooks for the 5th District Congressional seat. There is no Democrat in the race and Rep. Brooks will have a primary battle against Athens resident Jerry Hill for the Republican ticket.

“For two decades, I have been forced to vote for the lesser of two evils or against the other party,” Bray said. “I want to serve this district as an independent with no party affiliation so that I can truly serve the people with no strings attached.”

Bray is employed at Jacobs Engineering on the SLS Program supporting materials development and qualification for new propulsion systems.

Bray is married with three children. The Bray family lives in east Huntsville.

The primary election will be June 3, 2014. The general election is Nov. 4, 2014.

It’s time for the American people to stop complaining about things and do something about it and Mark is capable of Turning things around. Before you judge look into his back ground he is a straight forward person you can trust ( I know that’s hard to say about politics) who truly wants to make a change and with your vote it can happen..
