Job Fair For Veterans, Families in Huntsville Feb. 19-20

SSV400

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Our veterans stepped forward to preserve our American way of life by putting their lives on the line with their military service. Now it’s our turn to step up by helping our veterans find jobs in the civilian work force.

Still Serving Veterans is a non-profit organization determined to do just that by hosting a ‘Warriors To The Workforce’ hiring event.

It’s this week, Wednesday & Thursday, February 19-20 at the Von Braun Center in East Hall #3.  Registration starts at 8 a.m. each day and the event starts at 9 a.m.

Attendance is free and open to veterans, military service members and spouses.

Come dressed for success and be prepared to meet employers.  Bring plenty of resumes and arrive early, as registration may take some time.

Still Serving Veterans is working in conjunction with the Association of the United States Army and the American Freedom Foundation to make the job fair a huge success. Attending veterans will talk with various employers, submit applications and even participate in on-the-spot interviews.
