Man Killed in DeKalb County Altercation

FORT PAYNE, Ala. (WHNT)– The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man’s death on County Road 77.   It happened just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says the death was the result of a shooting after two men got into an argument.  No names have been released.

No charges have been filed in the case at this time.  The incident could be reviewed by a DeKalb County grand jury.
