Charges Dismissed for Man Accused of Rape at Alabama A&M Univ.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A former Memphis police officer accused of rape at Alabama A&M University in Madison County will not face charges for the crime.

According to our news partners The Huntsville Times/Al.com, a grand jury did not indict Terrance Shaw, 29. He had been charged with rape and sodomy after being arrested by the Alabama A&M Police Department in November.

Shaw was a graduate student at Alabama A&M at the time of his arrest.
