3 Arrested; Guns, Meth Confiscated in Jackson County
SECTION, Ala. (WHNT) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says three people were arrested Wednesday morning, and drugs and guns were also confiscated.
The investigation started with a traffic stop Tuesday night on County Road 42 in Hollywood. Narcotics and Alabama Game and Fish officers found methamphetamine in the vehicle and arrested Christopher Lance Burks and Hannah Marie Greczkowski, both 33.
Sheriff’s deputies then served a search warrant at Burks’ home on Highway 35 in Section. There, they seized approximately 85 grams (3 ounces) of meth ICE, a shotgun and a rifle. Charity Dawn Hester, 32, was at the home and was also arrested.
Burks is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is not set yet.
Hester, of Section, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance (Clonazpam). Her bond is not set yet, either.
Greczkowski, of Scottsboro, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia and promoting prison contraband 2nd degree. Investigators say this charge comes because they found meth on her after she was booked in jail. She was released on $15,500 bond.
