Boy Flown to Hospital After Guntersville Accident

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)–  A 6-year-old boy was flown to Huntsville Hospital after a car accident Sunday afternoon in Marshall County.  He was brought to the hospital by Lifesaver Helicopter with reported head injuries.

The accident happened just after 1 p.m. on Sunset Drive in Guntersville.   Guntersville Police say the boy’s mother hit a curb and crashed in the 1800 block of Sunset.   The mother was taken by ambulance to Marshall Medical Center North.

No names have been released.
