New Charges Filed in Child Pornography Case
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – There are new details on charges filed against a Huntsville man accused of holding a young boy captive to produce child pornography.
Carl Philip Herold is charged with the production and distribution of child pornography, sodomy, sexual abuse, and aggravated child abuse.
Herold is now charged with complicity sexual abuse and complicity sodomy. He has a felony exam scheduled for January 29.
Herold’s domestic partner, Charles Dunnavant, is also charged in this case. Dunnavant’s attorney filed a motion Wednesday to ban those involved in the case from speaking with the media.
There has not been a ruling made on that motion. Both men are being held on $1 million cash-only bonds.
