HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Do you have questions about how the Affordable Care Act will impact you?  A local civic group invites you to a health care symposium Monday, January 13 at Grissom High School.

Huntsville South will present the forum from 7:00 to 8:45 p.m.

A panel of hospital administrators, doctors, insurance executives and a compliance attorney will each speak about current health care changes and then answer your questions.

The panel includes:

-David Spillers, CEO of Huntsville Hospital
-Pam Hudson, MD, CEO of Crestwood Medical Center
-Michael Patterson, Blue Cross Blue Shield General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
-Fred Coffey, Jr. with Sirote Law Firm, a compliance attorney
-John Sowell, MD, a doctor in private practice

Each panel member will make a short presentation, followed by a Q&A session with the public.

The organizers ask you to show up around 6:30 p.m. if you'd like to submit a question in writing to the panel.  A moderator will present the questions.

"We're expecting a lot of people asking a wide variety of questions," said Walt Hennessee, Vice President/Secretary of Huntsville South.  "If it's not addressed that evening, we'll go to whoever can answer that question, and they'll get their answer in email."
