Governor Bentley Meets with Auburn Players for Pep Talk Before BCS Championship

AUBURN, Ala. (WHNT) – Governor Robert Bentley met with Auburn University football players, coaches and staff on Monday before the team leaves for the national championship game in Pasadena.
“I could not be more proud of the Auburn Tigers for what they have accomplished this season,” Governor Robert Bentley said. “Coach Malzahn has united this team, and they deserve to play in the national championship game. The last four national championships have come from the State of Alabama, and I hope for a 5th crystal trophy for our state.”
The team presented Bentley with a signed ball at the end of his remarks.
