Just to make the outdoors even more uninviting this afternoon, a fast moving mid-level disturbance is beginning to spread some light precipitation into the Western Tennessee Valley this afternoon.

We’ll mainly see light rain or drizzle through the rest of the afternoon and into the early evening hours as the disturbance moves east, but occasional snow flurries will also be a possibility as temperatures continue to drop. Don’t expect anything too heavy, and your evening plans should be impacted greatly as long as you’re prepared for a chilly and somewhat damp evening.

The last of the drizzle/flurries will be exiting the eastern portions of the Valley around 9 or 10pm, leaving us with slowly clearing skies and cold temperatures tonight.
