Limestone County Career Technical Center Principal Charged with Theft

ELKMONT, Ala. (WHNT) – Police have charged an Elkmont principal with Theft of Property First degree after he turned himself in at the Limestone County Jail.

Mickey Charles Glass, age 40, of Elkmont, Alabama, was arrested on Monday and charged with Theft of Property First Degree.

Glass is currently on leave as principal of the Limestone County Career Technical Center and is the subject of a continuing investigation requested by the Limestone County Board of Education following allegations of theft.

The findings from the investigation will be presented to the next Limestone County Grand Jury.

Limestone County Deputy Sheriff Paul Cain said, “Because of the scope of this investigation, Sheriff Blakely cannot disclose any further information regarding this case until there is a presentation to the Grand Jury due to the specifics of the allegations.”

    And our elected Public and school officials continue to be charged with crimes all over Norht Alabama now…there is no honor anymore when the deputies, principals, teachers, county clerks…etc. continue to steal what is not theirs.

    whats the matter with these people?? what property can’t he afford in his position?? i thought i was ‘poor’ but i guess i’m rich in my own way. what could he have possibly taken that he cannot afford on his income? people are making it here on $25,000 a yr without stealing stuff!
