HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The group A Smile for Troops placed wreaths at the Veterans Memorial in downtown Huntsville Friday, December 13.

The wreath placement was done in conjunction with a group called Wreaths Across America.

"Laying of the wreaths is a thank you to remember our veterans who have fought for us and died for us," said A Smile for Troops director Kiley Kinzer-Henry.

"The process of honoring veterans and their service is not just a holiday matter," Kinzer-Henry said.

The process of honoring veterans goes on around the clock and year round.  If you would like to help A Smile for Troops, just click on the link for more information.
