School Delays for Tuesday, December 10
TENNESSEE VALLEY (WHNT) – There is a Winter Weather Advisory issued for much of the Tennessee Valley from late Monday evening until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The following school systems have notified us of changes in Tuesday’s schedule:
-Athens Bible School – open at 10am
-Bedford County, Tennessee Schools – 2-hour delay
-Bethel Baptist School – open at 10am, childcare opens at 9:15
-Colbert County Schools – 2-hour delay – school starts at 10 am, buses start at 9 am
-Covenant Christian School/Tuscumbia – open at 10am
-Decatur Heritage Christian Academy – Upper opens – 9:45, lower opens – 10am
-Decatur City Schools – 2 hour delay. Buses – 2 hour delay
-Florence City Schools – 2 hour delay
-Franklin County Schools, AL – 2 hour delay – school starts at 10 am
-Hartselle City Schools – 2 hour delay
-Jackson County Schools – open at 10 am
-Lauderdale County Schools – 2-hour delay – school starts at 10 am
-Lawrence County Schools – 2 hour delay
-Limestone County Schools - 2 hour delay
-Lindsay Lane Christian Academy – 2 hour delay
-Morgan County Schools – 2 hour delay
-Mountain View Christian Academy -2 hour delay. Preschool daycare opens at 8:30 am.
-Muscle Shoals City Schools – open at 10am, no breakfast served
-Northwest-Shoals Community College – open at 10am. All exams at Northwest-Shoals scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday, December 10th are rescheduled for Thursday, December 12th at 2:45 p.m.
-Russellville City Schools delayed until 10:00 am. Buses will run two hours late
-Scottsboro City Schools delayed three hours
-Sheffield City Schools – 2-hour delay – school starts at 10 am
-Shoals Christian School – 2 hour delay
-Tuscumbia City Schools – school starts at 10 am
