TENNESSEE VALLEY (WHNT) – Monday, December 9 was the last day to turn in your gifts for Kids To Love’s Christmas drive, and we want to thank you for your donations.

WHNT News 19 had crews at Jack’s in Madison and East Limestone to collect toys and money to help buy more gifts for local foster children.  People brought bicycles, board games, clothes, stuffed animals and so much more, as well as $5,800 in monetary donations. From the bottom of our hearts, we truly thank you!

Kids To Love still has many ornaments that were not taken from trees, and needs more donations to purchase the items.  Kids To Love also needs at least 35 boys 20″/22″ bikes.  You can make a donation online through PayPal.

The items collected are for Kids To Love’s Christmas drive.

Volunteers will organize the gifts for distribution to the families.  It takes a huge effort to organize the donations, get them wrapped and return them to the families in time.

If you’d still like to help, there are opportunities to volunteer your time, donate online, or visit our gift-wrapping location at Bridge Street.  There, volunteers will wrap your gifts and you can make a donation to Kids To Love.  The gift-wrapping location will be open through December 24.
