Stuedeman to be Inducted into NFCA Hall of Fame

HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2014 Hall of Fame class late Friday night, and renowned University of Alabama in Huntsville softball coach Les Stuedeman will be a member of the four-person group that will be inducted at the organization’s annual convention next year in Las Vegas.

The announcement was made at this year’s meeting in San Antonio as NFCA First Vice President and chairperson of the Hall of Fame committee Kathryn Gleason stepped to the podium after the year’s class was inducted to name the four members of 2014 NFCA Hall of Fame class. Stuedeman will be joined next year by Oklahoma City University head coach Phil McSpadden, SUNY Cortland head coach Julie Lenhart, and NFCA Executive Director Lacy Lee Baker.
