Anderson Woman Dies in Wreck with Log Truck on Hwy. 64
LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Lexington Police are investigating a wreck that killed an Anderson woman on Wednesday morning.
The wreck happened along Highway 64, one and a half miles east of Highway 101.
Police Chief Augie Hendershot says the female driver swerved into the path of an oncoming log truck and the two hit head on.
The female driver died on the scene. Her name has not been released yet.
The driver of the log truck was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital for treatment.
