New Campaign Promotes Downtown Huntsville Holiday Events to Residents and Visitors
It’s calling for all businesses in Downtown Huntsville to get all dressed up for the holidays and win a prize.
So, Christmas is very much on display in the center of the city.
“You can have Christmas in downtown,” said Santa Claus. “One stop shopping. We’ve got everything going on,” he added.
The Jolly ‘Ol Elf helped deliver the news about a new campaign and partnership between DHI and the airport to promote businesses and holiday events going on to residents and visitors to North Alabama.
“Downtown is for everybody and it offers something for everybody,” said John Hamilton, Huntsville’s City Administrator.
City officials unveiled a new logo that will be posted around the airport to encourage residents and visitors check out Santa’s Village, the Tinsel Trail, Skating in the Park and various shows at the Von Braun Center.
“You can park your car once in downtown and walk to these four great attractions, among the many other businesses,” said Chad Emerson, President of DHI.
And this year, there’s a contest for businesses in Downtown Huntsville to get into the holiday spirit. In fact, the one with the best holiday display will win a $300 holiday dinner.
It’s a winning partnership to promote Huntsville, the holidays and happiness.
The contest among the businesses goes from now until December 15th. That’s when DHI will announce the winner.
