Anthony Jones Out as Coach of Alabama A&M Football

NORMAL, Ala. (WHNT)– Alabama A&M has relieved Anthony Jones of his duties as head football coach.   The Bulldogs finished the season 4-8.

The announcement was made by Director of Athletics, Bryan Hicks who released a brief statement.

“We are very greatful and appreciative of the work he has done with A&M athletics. We thank Coach Jones for his efforts and leadership of the football program and wish him much success in his future endeavors.”

Jones was hired as head coach in 2002.
