Colbert Co. Sheriff’s Office Releases Photos of Bank Robbery Suspect

FORD CITY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance pictures of a man wanted in a bank robbery.

The robbery happened Monday, November 25 at First Southern Bank in Ford City.  Sheriff Ronnie May says the man in the pictures came in the bank around 11 a.m. Monday.

The man had a handgun, robbed the teller and ran away.

Sheriff May says the man was wearing a bandana over his face and a black jacket.

    The poor guy probably couldn’t read. If he could he would have seen the no guns allowed sign and not brought a gun in there. No criminal will ever carry a gun past one of those signs.
