LIMESTONE CO., Ala. (WHNT) — Two juveniles are back in a Limestone County detention center after a chase that involved at least five different law enforcement agencies.

Officials say the two juveniles escaped from the center around three-thirty Sunday afternoon. They say the two stole a car a few miles from the center.

The car was found crashed into a guard rail about an hour later, on Interstate 65.

Officials say the two juveniles left the car and took off again. Area businesses were notified that they might be in the area.

Late Sunday afternoon officials say they got a call from an employee at a gas station in Priceville, saying the two juveniles were in the store.

Law enforcement officials arrived and found the juveniles, and arrested them.

They tell WHNT News 19 no one was injured in the car crash. There’s no word yet as to how the juveniles escaped from the detention center.
