AUBURN, Ala. (WHNT)– After Alabama beat Chattanooga Saturday 49-0, it means that Iron Bowl week has officially arrived.  Auburn did not play Saturday.

The next game for the Tide is against #6 Auburn.  And of course the next game for Auburn is against #1 and unbeaten Alabama.   The game will kickoff next Saturday, November 30 at 2:30pm.   The game will air live on WHNT News 19.

This will be the first time since the SEC split into divisions in 1992 that the two teams will meet to compete for a spot in the SEC Championship game.   Both teams were unbeaten in 1994, but Auburn was on probation and could not go to the championship game.
