November is Diabetes Awareness Month
November is Diabetes Awareness Month and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is encouraging the North Alabama Community to pull together and honor this special month by helping JDRF promote awareness about the disease as well as raise funding for R&D and education.
Gather your family and friends and come join JDRF and Plamor Lanes for a fun night of BOWLING on November 29th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Plamor Lanes is offering JDRF a special rate of $15 per person which includes your shoes! There will be a live band and fun activities. Plamor Lanes is giving JDRF a third of the night’s proceeds back to JDRF. Plamor Lanes is located at 2404 Leeman Ferry Road in Huntsville.
Enjoy a meal at Zoes Kitchen – Research Park on Tuesday, December 3rd for an all-day fundraising event! Mention JDRF when you come in to Zoes for lunch or dinner, place a to go order, or even have your office cater a meeting and Zoes Kitchen – Research Park will donate 20% of net sales to JDRF when you let them know you are with JDRF.
