Junior League of Huntsville Announces Casting Calls for American Girl Fashion Show®

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – If you have a young daughter, you’ve probably heard of the American Girl® doll line.  And you may have received a magazine in the mail – because Christmas is coming soon.


The Junior League of Huntsville is holding casting calls for models to walk in its first American Girl Fashion Show® next March.

Many of the casting call appointments are sold out, but the Junior League of Huntsville (JLH) has some slots open on November 19 and 20. The group is looking for girls excited about walking down the runway in front of an audience of about 200 people, smiling and showcasing American Girl® fashions featured throughout the years.

*The JLH is looking for girls Size 6X (48 inches) or 10 (54-56 inches)
*In 1st grade or older by the time of March 2014 show
*Commitment to attend 2 rehearsals prior to show if selected
*Ticket price of $60

The proceeds from the casting calls and American Girl Fashion Show® will be given to JLH children’s charities.
