Albertville Woman Charged with Sex Crimes Against Children
ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls reports that an Albertville woman has been charged following an anonymous report that two children had been subject to inappropriate and sexual contact.
On the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 1, sheriff’s investigators arrested Angela Currie, 46, after a joint investigation with Alabama Department of Human Resources and charged her with Sexual Abuse 1st, Walls said.
Currie was taken to the Marshall County Jail, where she later posted bond. The investigation began following an anonymous report that two children had been subjected to inappropriate and sexual contact, according to Walls. The two victims are reported to be safe and at a safe location following placement by DHR.
This case remains under investigation.
