Enroll Alabama Campaign Launches

HUNTSVILLE, ALA (WHNT) – Enroll Alabama, the state’s leading health care enrollment coalition, is launching the “Get Covered Alabama” campaign. The campaign will educate consumers about the benefits of the new  health insurance coverage and the options that are available under the Affordable Care Act. Consumers will also recieve assistance in enrolling for health care plans.

“The AIDS Action Coalition is honored to be North Alabama’s official navigator for the Affordable Care Act and we are committed to assisting you through the enrollment process while helping you understand what it all means for you and your insurance coverage options.” said Mary Elizabeth Marr, Chief Executive Officer of the AIDS Action Coalition

The new health insurance exchange will compare prices and help people  shop for health insurance.This can all take place by phone, online, or in-person. Insurance plans will cover doctor visits, hospital stays, preventative care, prescriptions and more.

 For more information on Get Covered Alabama and Enroll Alabama, visit Huntsville’s first registration and enrollment fair will be held on Sunday, December 8th at Crestwood Medical Center from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
