Consumer Alert: Kraft Recalls Varieties of String Cheese

There is a recall you need to know about before you pack lunch for you or your child.

Kraft Foods has voluntarily recalled some varieties of Kraft and Polly-O string cheese and string cheese twists.

The Federal Drug Administration says the products may spoil before their “best when used by” dates.

Experts say the spoilage could cause a discoloration of the cheese.

Click here for a list of all affected products. Products impacted by this recall have code dates from October 25 of this year through February 11th 2014.

This recall affects approximately 735,000 cases of the product.
