Abandoned Home Catches Fire in Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Emergency personnel in Huntsville responded to a fire at an abandoned house overnight.
Authorities responded to the call at the corner of Boundary Avenue and McCrary Street at about 1:00 a.m.
Firefighters say when they arrived on the scene the flames had engulfed the house. Firefighters say they worked quickly to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading. The fire was out within an hour.
No injuries were reported. The house is considered a loss.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
