Sheriff’s Office: Man Who Used Stolen Credit Cards Identified
MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man suspected of committing vehicle burglaries and using stolen debit and credit cards.
Genesis Lindsey, 34, of Decatur was arrested on two counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, according to deputies. Lindsey will also face charges for unlawful possession of credit or debit cards and criminal mischief.
Investigator Brent Patterson with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office said that Lindsey will face charges in Piedmont, Winfield, Jasper, Quinton, and Jacksonville.
The initial report from the sheriff’s office said a woman reported her purse stolen from her vehicle on or about Sunday, October 13. She also lost her credit cards.
Investigators say the man pictured had used the credit cards at several businesses in Alabama and Tennessee, buying about $6,000 worth of items.
