Guntersville High School In National Contest to Not Text & Drive

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — High school students are making a pledge to win a grant or even a concert for their school.  They’re asking for your help, too.

Guntersville High School is taking part in the Celebrate My Drive online contest.  They’re urging everyone to go to Celebratemydrive.com to make a commitment not to text and drive.  Click here to Make A Commitment.

It’s open to anyone 14 years of age and older – students, parents, teachers and community members.

The school with the most commitments could win a $100,000 grant or a concert by Kelly Clarkson.  There are other prizes for runners-up.

As of Friday, October 25, Guntersville was ninth in the small schools category.  Good luck Wildcats!
