Power Restored After Short Outage in NE Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Utilities crews restored power following a 45-minute outage in the northeast part of the city.

The power went out around 7:15 a.m.  The outage affected businesses and homes on Andrew Jackson, California, Clinton, Meridian, Pratt Ave and several adjacent streets.

Huntsville Utilities crews restored power by 8 a.m.  They say the outage was caused by a squirrel at the intersection of Dallas and Howe Streets.
